Dealing with mental illness can be challenging, affecting not only the individual but also their family and friends. If you’re grappling with a mental health condition, you might be trying to understand what the future holds, how it will influence your loved ones, and how you’ll carry on with your daily life. Often, families are not entirely prepared to understand and accept that their loved one is dealing with a mental illness.

Approach

Our primary focus is to prioritize the client’s requirements, offering medically and clinically sound recommendations to support them in conquering their symptoms.

Treatments

We collaborate closely with both the client and their family at every stage to guarantee optimal outcomes. Our success hinges on realizing the client’s objectives and aspirations.

Recovery

While our aim is for your swift recovery, it’s crucial not to hasten the process. Certain treatments may require time to have their full impact on your daily life. Together, we can navigate this journey.

Meet Our Clinician

Hello! Thank you for stopping by and learning more about Vicc Psychiatry. My passion lies in the profound impact I can make on individuals’ lives through compassionate, holistic care. Nursing offers a unique blend of science and human connection, and it is this combination that fuels my dedication to the profession. This passion not only fuels my daily practice but also inspires me to continually strive for excellence and innovation in the field of nursing. To be more impactful in helping people in a provider role, I chose to advance my studies as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Working as a family nurse Practitioner, I provided comprehensive healthcare services across all ages, from infants to the elderly. Diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, performing routine check-ups, prescribing medications, and educating patients on health management. In my quest to provide holistic care to my patients, bridge the gap between medical and psychiatric care, how the mind/body connection is often overlooked, and the stigma attached to mental illness, I decided to pursue a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification. The combination of family practice and psychiatry allows for a more thorough and nuanced understanding of patient needs, fostering stronger patient-provider relationships and more effective, personalized treatment plans. In Vicc psychiatry, we address the complete person, not just their ailment. My goal is to give you my undivided attention, and a listening ear, empathize with you, and assist you in achieving your optimal state of well-being. In my practice, you spend less time seeing a psychiatrist. So, come and enjoy a less crowded waiting room.

“You don’t have to struggle in silence. You can be un-silent. You can live well with a mental health condition, as long as you open up to somebody about it because it’s really important you share your experience with people so that you can get the help that you need.”Demi Lovato.
